Q:  How to configure the PrintSir with a Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows ME workstation?

A:  You can follow the general procedure that applies to any windows workstation.  Click here to get the general procedure. Below is the procedure that you manually add the printer port rather than using the PrintSir Network Port Quick Setup in the general procedure to add the printer port.

• Right click on the printer's driver and select Properties
• Click the Details tab.  Click Add port.  Select Other.  Select the PrintSir Network port.  Click OK.
  You should see a new window with PrintSir showing in the list with the IP address of PrintSir.
  If you have PS-901 or PS-1101, select LPT1 option.
  If you have PS-3101, select LPT1, LPT2, or LPT3 depends on the port number that you connect with your printer.
• High light the PrintSir in the list and hit OK.  You will be back to the Details tab.
• Click Apply.  Then click on the General tab.  Print Test Page.  You should get a test print out.
   

Q:  My computer runs Windows ME, can the PrintSir Utility run under Windows ME?

A: Yes, our PrintSir Administrator Utilities and Client Drivers program can work under Windows ME.  Please download the most updated software from http://www.edimax.com
