Q: What is the default IP address, username and password for Edimax routers?

For most Edimax routers, the default IP address is 192.168.2.1, default username is admin and password is 1234.

By default the router is a DHCP server which will assign IP address starting from 192.168.2.100 to 192.168.2.199 to DHCP clients automatically. 

Make sure your computer has TCP/IP Protocol setup as "Obtain IP address automatically".

Open the Internet Explorer.  Type in http://192.168.2.1 hit Enter.  The Login window will appear.  Type in the default username admin, password 1234.  Click on Login.  Then you can configure the router.
